C R Allen & Sons launch subdivision specialising in EV servicing, maintenance and repairs

As time moves on, so do we. With thousands of electric and hybrid vehicles on UK roads, we’ve experienced an increased demand for EV servicing, maintenance and repairs, and decided to do something about it.

Introducing C R Allen EV Specialists – our new subdivision dedicated to all makes and models of electric and hybrid vehicles. A one-stop shop with all the technology and technical support you need to protect the value and performance of your EV.

To help us serve the public, our technicians have been busy obtaining an IMI Level 4 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence. If there’s something our techs don’t know about electric vehicles, it’s probably not worth knowing.

You’ll still find all our regular and specialist services for petrol and diesel vehicles right here. But if you own an EV, here’s what you can expect from our new offering.

EV diagnostics

Whether it’s chargers, connectors and convertors or fuses, batteries and invertors, we’ll run a full diagnostic on your EV to find the route of any problem with pinpoint accuracy.

Battery care

Our technicians will test every cell and module in your battery and report back with a state-of-health report to assess what’s going on. Whether you need a repair or replacement, we’ve got you covered.

MOTs

Available for any make or model, our VOSA-certified MOTs provide peace of mind your EV is legally compliant to be on the road. All for a sensible fee with no costly surprises.

Repairs

From battery and brake pads to charge ports and control units, we can repair or replace any component for any electric or hybrid vehicle. If you’ve broken down within 5 miles from us, we can come and collect your vehicle.

Servicing

Our technicians will check every serviceable component of your vehicle, no matter the make or model. All carried out using specialist equipment and diagnostic tools designed for speed, safety and precision.

Wheel alignment

Misaligned wheels accelerate tyre wear, reduce range and impact your overall driving experience. Using laser-guided technology, we’ll get your EV back on track in no time.
